Ciao! I’m Sabrina Johanna Fletcher, a passionate Biologist originally from the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Currently, I find myself immersed in the city of Torino, Italy. With a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, my journey has been an exploration of some of the mysteries of the natural world.
Research Focus: Currently, my research is centered on colorectal cancer. I am driven by a commitment to contribute valuable insights to the field of health research, enhancing our understanding of tumor development and treatment response.
My journey: Throughout my academic career, I have had the privilege of contributing to different scientific fields, from cancer research to insect antiviral immunity. These experiences have not only enriched my understanding of the biological sciences in general but also fueled my passion for making a meaningful impact on the world.
Current Endeavors: In my current role I am actively involved in understanding basic features of colorectal cancer development, right here in Torino. This website is intended as a way to share my work with everyone, from scientist to anyone else that is interested in knowing a little bit more about how science is made. It is also intended to act as a bridge between the scientific and the non-scientific community.
